Update 10-19-16:

Thank you to all our patrons, vendors, volunteers and our team for your patience and understanding during what has been a rather significant weather event for all. We hope that everyone was safe throughout the hurricane.

We want everyone to know that we are currently finalizing our plans for the rescheduled event. But as you can imagine, it is not simply a matter of changing the date and saying "let's go".  We have to work around previously scheduled events as well as work with the many agencies involved in securing the location. All of our logisitics need to be recalulated and resecheduled.

None the less, we are very close to finalizing our plans and will shortly be able to make the rescheduled date announcement. We are very excited about the plans we are working on and we hope you’ll join us at our future event which will also support our charity of choice, Hospice of the Golden Isles. Continued updates will be posted on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ssifoodandspirits

The Golden Isles

New to the Festival?  For the past 4 years St. Simons Island has turned into a full-fledged culinary fall party to be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike!  This year, the festival is expanding into a culinary destination event, with an opportunity to bring even more visitors a chance to experience coastal Georgia’s best.  The main festival event, Tastings Under the Oaks, takes place on Saturday, October 8, located in Gascoigne Bluff Park, a historic park near Epworth Methodist Center.  Additional festival events, from dinners to tasting events, live and silent auctions, happen all over St. Simons Island and throughout the Golden Isles. Parking for the various events will be either in a public parking lot or clearly marked by signs.

St. Simons Island and the surrounding areas offer an array of great hotels and resorts to fit your budget.  Each are close to the events, some even offering shuttle service. Please see our lodging page for more information.
